Choreographer Saar Harari works with his wife Lee Sher—both from Israel—to create contemporary dance that explores his own history as a former member of the Special Forces of the IDF, in relation to the challenges facing Israel, and its relationship to global culture. Harari recently received a Guggenheim Fellowship and is a member of The Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists, which encourages artists to create new work that opens connection points for young Jewish adults.
