Next year’s Women’s Day of Jewish Learning will be Sunday, Feb. 1.
The event will be held at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center.
The community-wide event welcomes all women to gather and study primary texts about key female biblical figures. This year’s topic will be “Biblical Women Who Communicated With God.”
The keynote speaker will be Rachel Brodie. Brodie is the executive director of Jewish Milestones in Berkeley, Calif. , a group that helps individuals and families create rituals that are “personal, authentic, and meaningful,” according to the group’s literature.
Three workshops by local educators will be offered on topics relating to prayers by and for women.
To be included in the invitation list, e-mail Sylvia Frankel at frankel@lclark.edu.
