Invitations have been mailed for the Oregon Jewish Museum art auction, scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at the Governor Hotel.
The annual event includes donated art from many of the region’s leading artists. They go to the highest bidder in a live auction.
The event also features a silent auction in which bidders vie for a wide variety of other desirable items.
The event is the central annual fund-raiser for the museum and an opportunity for friends of the museum to reconnect and hear from museum leaders.
The silent auction will begin at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The oral auction will get under way at 7:15 p.m.
Ticket prices for the Gala remain the same as last year. The dinner price is $80 per person—$40 for guests under 40. Dinner patrons pay $125 per person.
