Author Peter Zheutlin shares the story of his great-grand aunt, Annie Cohen Kopchovsky, who, in 1894, was the first women to ride a bicycle around the world. Zheutlin's book "Around the World on Two Wheels" uses foreign and domestic newspapers, personal letters and family artifacts to tell her story. Zheutlin is a freelance journalist whose work appears regularly in The Boston Globe. Optional 10-mile bike ride to the waterfront begins at 6 p.m., followed by a reading at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments served. $5 donation recommended. The Jewish Theatre Collaborative and the Harold Schnitzer Program in Judaic Studies present a staged reading of this play by Roni Pinkovich. "Tea" is a drama about family, the exchange of poems for a kidney and tea, which comes to the rescue when it seems all hope is lost. $8 suggested donation. First come, first seated.
