Holocaust survivor speaks to Shaarie Torah middle school and adults. Alter Wiener is one of the very few Holocaust survivors still living in the Portland area. His story is a testimony to an unfolding tragedy taking place in WWII. It has a message what prejudice may lead to and how tolerance is imperative. Mark Braverman is a Jewish American with deep family roots in the Holy Land. Trained as a clinical psychologist, and a pioneer in crisis intervention and recovery from trauma, Mark now devotes himself full-time to the cause for peace.
