CAMAS: Blue Card fundraiser. Enjoy an evening of music, food and learning and support survivors. The Blue Card was established in 1934 to assist Jews fleeing Nazi Germany, and 75 years later it continues to assist survivors. Of the 100,000 who live in the U.S., there are at least 30,000 survivors who subsist on $12,000 or less per year. The Blue Card provides medical services, rent assistance, social services, personal emergency response systems, the Bring-A-Smile program etc. to each of them. The event costs $50 per person and is open to all. 6-10 p.m. at the home of Craig and Michelle Hersh, 6215 NW Michaelbrook Lane. For more information or to RSVP, contact Michelle at cmhersh@comcast.net or 360-833-9422.
