An Interfaith Climate Vigil will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (reception at
8:00 p.m.) at Tabor Heights United Methodist Church, 6161 SE Stark St.
Portland. It is sponsored by Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon's Oregon
Interfaith Power & Light, in partnership with Oregon Area Jewish Committee
and other local congregations and groups. The vigil provides an
opportunity to reflect on the spiritual and moral dimensions of global
warming as our nation deliberates on energy and climate policies. The
service features wisdom from multiple faiths, cultures and generations
through a variety of mediums including prayer, poetry, and special music
