SHOMREI TEVA CREEKSIDE RESTORATION—Neveh Shalom, through its environmental committee Shomrei Teva, has joined with SOLV to restore the area along the tributary of Fanno Creek that borders the Neveh Shalom parking lot. On Feb. 1, 40 adult volunteers and 40 to 45 children from Neveh Shalom’s religious school planted approximately 300 native plants including trees, shrubs, ferns and wildflowers. Past work parties have cleared invasive species. For future work parties, contact Shomrei Teva chair Jordan Epstein at 503-245-6580 or yaakovm@comcast.net.
