Still time to sign up for Men's Night Out of dinner, values, casino

There is still time to sign up for Men’s Night Out, the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland’s event just for Jewish men of all ages. MNO is set tfor Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center.
The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres and time to connect with old friends and make new friends before a hearty buffet dinner.
Then, former Clinton White House advisor and Ethos Water founder Jonathan Greenblatt will talk about social entrepreneurship and Jewish values.
Greenblatt is a former vice president of Starbucks Coffee and an acknowledged leader on ethical branding and social entrepreneurship. He teaches social entrepreneurship at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and is currently the CEO of GOOD Worldwide, Inc., an integrated media company that helps people to live well and do good.
The evening will conclude with opt-in casino entertainment including poker, blackjack and roulette for which prizes—including Blazer tickets, gourmet cheeses, a case of wine, an REI gift card and more—will be awarded and the proceeds from which will benefit the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee’s Ethiopian Water Project.
Tickets for the main event are $45, with 3 percent earmarked for Mazon, the Jewish Response to Hunger.
For those who want to stay and play the casino games, there’s a $30 buy-in.
