Applications for Sussman Fund Scholarships for higher education are due May 15.

The Sussman Fund was established in 1981 by Lillian and Gilbert Sussman to proivde grants to Jewish students from Oregon toward their higher education. Grants of $500 to $1,000 are made in late June or early July.
Priority consideration is given to applicants who are permanent residents of the metropolitan Portland area; can demonstrate financial need; have been themselves or come from a family who has been Jewishly involved in their community; and attend/plan to attend an accredited undergraduate college or university in the United States; and are participating in a program leading to a recognized degree or certificate.
Applications are available online at www.jewishportland.org.
