Albert Menashe and Eden Rose Brown were the only Oregon attorneys included on the list of Top 100 lawyers in America, published in the March Worth magazine.
There were no lawyers from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska or Hawaii included on the 2008 list. This is the third consecutive year Eden Rose Brown has been named a Worth Top 100 attorney.
Each year Worth polls its readers and professionals in accounting, financial planning and academia to select the country’s top attorneys with the greatest expertise in family law, trusts and estates, and philanthropy. The magazine’s staff selects the 100 best attorneys, based on professional affiliations and publishing history to indicate expertise that is helpful to affluent clients.
Published for high-net-worth individuals and their advisors, Worth reports on issues related to comprehensive wealth management. The magazine was first published in February 1992.
Menashe served as the president of the Oregon State Bar in 2007. He is a frequent speaker on family law issues nationally. A native Portlander, Menashe graduated from Wilson High School and the University of Oregon before receiving his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law.
Salem-based Eden Rose Brown is a nationally recognized teacher, author and lecturer dedicated to providing her clients with innovative family legacy design strategies incorporating estate, tax and charitable planning. An Oregon native, Brown received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College.
Brown served as an Air Force Judge Advocate during the Persian Gulf War, and recently left service with the rank of lieutenant colonel. She is co-author and editor of the book, “Giving—Philanthropy for Everyone.”
