Chabad slates Mommy and Me group in Vancouver

The Chadad Jewish Center in Clark County will launch a new program designed especially for moms, babies and toddlers with the first five-week session, led by Director Tzivie Greenberg, starting Wednesday, Oct.17 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Chabad Jewish Center at 9604 NE 126th Ave. Suite 2320, Vancouver.

The Chabad Jewish Center is expanding rapidly and includes many young Jewish families. Greenberg, also a young mom, said she is excited to facilitate this new group where moms will meet other moms to experience Jewish traditions in a stimulating, fun and creative atmosphere. Mothers and their children will join together for crafts, songs, stories and circle time.

This group welcomes moms with children ages birth to 2½. Siblings are also welcome. The cost for a full session is $30. To learn more about this Mommy and Me group, a Meet and Greet will be held Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. at Café Sip-n-Play, 3000 SE 164th Ave. in Vancouver.
