Performance artist and writer Miriam Feder returns to Hipbone Studio in Portland next month with a new one-woman show.

Feder was featured at Hipbone last October in a show she called “Vestibule” about life’s transitions.

The new show brings to the stage her recent book, “About Love; the bittersweet heart,” in which she presents a dozen of her sensual, saucy and poignant written works. The book can be previewed and purchased at Feder’s Web site, miriamfeder.com, and at Powell’s Books on Hawthorne, Broadway Books on Northeast Broadway, In Other Words Bookstore on Northeast Killingsworth and Gumbo on North Mississippi Avenue.

She said her new “celebrates lusty, longing, sparkling, sexy, crusty, retroactive, transforming and worm-eaten love. Yes, it’s upbeat, basically.”

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.

Tickets priced at $15 in advance and $20 at the door are available on line at miriamfeder.com/in-person/ or by phone at 503-697-0683.

Dessert and beverages will be served.

Hipbone Studio, a drawing and painting venue that occasionally hosts theatrical presentations, is located at 1847 E Burnside.
