As a young boy, Uriah dreams of becoming one of David's top 30 warriors. He practices obsessively, can shoot the arrow and sling shot better than anyone. But what happens when David becomes involved with the girl Bathsheba, who has been engaged to Uriah since childhood? The plot thickens as David's own sons rise against him, and Ahithophel, Bathsheba's grandfather and counselor to the king, sinks into a dangerous depression. Enter Solomon...and in the spirit of reconciliation, a happy ending. "The Warrior," a musical, is by Marilyn Olson, and presented by MCO Productions. Admission is free with suggested donation.
