ELLEN HOCKELY
Portland native Ellen Hockley participated in the Hasbara Fellowships, an Israel activism training program. Ms. Hockley was one of 150 students selected from 75 universities and an applicant pool of more than 400.
In culmination of her training, Ms. Hockley will bring new programming and campaign ideas back to the University of Washington.
CAROLYN WEINSTEIN
Principal Broker Carolyn Weinstein, ABR, has been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the NAR.
Weinstein has been a professional realtor since 1978. To earn SRES designation, Weinstein completed a comprehensive course in understanding the needs of buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.
JAMIE ZEBRAK
Jamie E. Zebrak, a junior at the University of Oregon, has been designated an “Emerson Fellow” by StandWithUs, a nonprofit, international Israel education organization. Thirty-eight student leaders were selected for the 2007-2008 fellowship.
Zebrak is majoring in psychology and internal studies. She is involved with Hillel, Chabad Jewish Center and ‘This IS Israel’ Student Group.
