The theme of this event is “Unity in Diversity.” Representatives from many faith groups, including Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Unitarian, Baha'i and others will share sacred words relating to the theme. Rabbi Michael Cahana from Congregation Beth Israel will be the keynote speaker. Rabbi Cahana comes from several generations of rabbis, including his late father and his older brother, which led to his ordination in 1994. Rabbi Cahana will be speaking to several mayors from Washington County cities attending the event as special guests, including: Mayor Teri Branstitre, Banks; Mayor Craig Dirksen, Tigard; Mayor Rob Drake, Beaverton; Mayor Tom Hughes, Hillsboro; Mayor Keith Mays, Sherwood; and Washington County Chair Tom Brian. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are $25 per person.
