Yafa Arberboy, who works with an Israeli non-profit called Paamonim, or "Bells," will speak about the conditions within which the people of Sderot live. Paamonim provides emergency assistance to families in financial distress, but also teaches them how to take the necessary steps to lift themselves out of poverty and debt. Arberboy's specific responsibility within Paamonim is the town of Sderot, which allows him to share eye-witness accounts, and personal stories and reflections. 7 pm.
