I was pleased to read Paul Haist’s article, “Stampfer finds seeds of anti-Semitism in ‘Israel Lobby.’”

Many of us have been disgusted with Mearshimer and Walt’s tome of anti-Semitic attacks and negative remarks about Israel.

Rabbi Stampfer’s speech refuted the findings beautifully.

What should impress people was that he was in Israel as a student at the time of Israel’s birth in 1948. He was a witness and participant.

I am so proud that he made this marvelous speech before the World Affairs Council.
