Co-founder of Response and Prooftexts, journals of Jewish thought, Professor Alan Mintz is a well-known writer exploring themes of Jewish survival and culture. He also has authored and/or edited seven books ranging from modern Hebrew literature to the shaping of Holocaust memory in American popular culture. Mintz currently holds the Chana Kekst Professorship in Hebrew Literature at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
