The 14th Annual Beit Am Adult Education Committee Readers Theater presents a night of Irving Berlin, Yip Harburg, Lorenz Hart and Dorothy Fields. These song writers revolutionized popular music in the 1920s, 30s and 40s, and their songs are still performed today. Learn how they matched lyrics to melodies, what inspired their poetry and why their best works have such staying power. Sketches—written by Mike Aronson and Anne Hartheimer—are produced by members of the Beit Am community to amuse, entertain and educate their audience.
