Speaker George Sidline was born in Japan before World War II. During the war his family remained in Kobe, Japan, where his father operated an import/export business. Then in 1954 his family immigrated to Canada, and in 1962 Sidline moved to California. Sidline will talk about the book he published in 2007 chronicling his family's experience.
