Most of the candidates in four key state-wide races that will be on Oregon’s May 29 primary election ballot already have confirmed that they will take part in a candidate forum set for April 14 at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center.
Candidates in races for the U.S. Senate, Oregon secretary of state, Oregon attorney general and Oregon treasurer have agreed to take part.
The forum, which will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. is sponsored by the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, the MJCC, the Portland Chapter of the American Jewish Committee and the local National Council of Jewish Women.
The free event is open to the public.
