Ean Roby, professor emeritus at Ohlone College, will offer a series of three lectures about the interactions between Judaism and early Christianity during the time of the Roman Empire. Starting with a survey of the historical development of Judaism and early Christianity, the lectures will focus on the interplay between the Jewish community, early Christian groups and the Roman state from the time of Jesus to the fall of the Roman empire. $5 donation requested.
