Children's TV show riles grown-up viewer

To the editor:

Imagine my shock last week when I inadvertantly watched the children’s show “Between the Lions,” produced by Iowa Public Television.

The segment entitled “Here Come The Aliens” showed a strange creature lurking in outer space. It was described as “sickly green. But to top it off, it had a long nose and—without a doubt!—a Jewish star on its body.

I called OPB to explain my horror and cancel my membership. They said they understood. I am glad someone understood because I don’t!
