Hosted by the Hollywood branch of the Multnomah County Library, "Modern Marvels" is part of the reading and discussion series called “Let’s Talk About It: Jewish Literature – Identity and Imagination.” The five-part series explores Jewish literature and culture through scholar-led discussions of books on a common theme. The fourth session will meet April 8 to explore "The Quitter" by Harvey Pekar. The last session will discuss "The Rabbi’s Cat" by Joann Sfar on May 13. Associate Professor of English and Humanities Dr. Laura Leibman will lead the discussion. Register for each session individually.
