Cantor Ramon Tasat will perform with the Neveh Shalom choir. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cantor Tasat is a tenor vocalist and guitarist who specializes in Sephardic music with a style that reflects the rich history and drama of this tradition. He has studied at the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, the Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires and the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a doctorate degree in voice performance. In addition, Cantor Tasat has appeared in numerous opera productions including the Kennedy Center Concert Hall and the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC, where he is the cantor of Temple Shalom. $18 general, $10 students and seniors.
