“At Such A Dizzy Height,” inspired by the paintings of Marc Chagall, is back as the second act of the Do Jump Holiday Show, a secular romp for the whole family at the Newmark Theatre Dec. 7-30.
This visually stunning work of aerial dance, circus arts, video and live music, draws inspiration from Chagall, taking the audience on a playful journey celebrating life, love, color, shape and spirit.
Both acts of the holiday show feature the live music of Klezmocracy’s Courtney Von Drehle, Joe Janiga and Ralph Huntley. Both acts of the show were conceived and choreo-directed by Robin Lane.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sundays Dec.7-30, with a 7:30 p.m. show added on Wednesday, Dec. 26. The Dec. 13 performance will feature a talk back with performers after the show.
“At Such A Dizzy Height” and “The Ever-Evolving Holiday Show” will be at the Newmark Theatre at the Portland Center for Performing Arts.
Tickets are $29.50 for adults and $25 for youth and seniors. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available online at www.dojump.org or through the Do Jump box office 503-231-1232 (no service charge but small order fee applies from both); or with service fees through Ticket Master or the PCPA Box Office.
