Senator Margaret Carter will speak at Kabbalat Shabbat service on the theme of "Exodus—A Shared Journey," celebrating the transition from slavery to freedom in the Jewish and African-American communities and honoring the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Northwest Community Gospel Choir will sing during the service as well. 6 pm.
