Robison tea benefits home’s residents

The Robison Jewish Home Sisterhood hosted its 30th annual White Box Tea in the home's dining room Dec. 4.

Above, from left, Marcia Goodman, Margaret Hasson, Ruth Orloff, Naomi Schneider and Edith Levitt await the arrival for the approximately 40 others who first attended a Sisterhood meeting and then a musicl performance by Amy Shapiro and her husband Jeff Olenick. Goodman and Schneider are current Sisterhood financial secretaries. Hasson is a past president of the Sisterhood.

The annual tea was created to collect filled pushkas (tzedakah boxes) for the home’s infirmary. While the Sisterhood donates money to the Robison Home throughout the year to help meet needs and provide entertainment for residents, the tea continues to be the day to turn in filled pushkas or checks for the home.
