Oregon Interfaith Power and Light, in partnership with First Unitarian's Community for Earth, the American Jewish Committee, local congregations and groups, is organizing an interfaith worship service as a prelude to Focus the Nation—an educational initiative focused on global warming solutions started by Lewis and Clark professor Eban Goodstein. The service will feature components from multiple faiths, cultures and generations, as well as worship through responsive prayer, gospel music and liturgical dance. Climate change photos by photographer Gary Braasch and speakers Bill Barnes, a University of Portland professor, and Sister Pat Nagle, World Council of Churches delegate to the December 2007 Bali United Nations Climate Conference, will also be featured. 7-8:30 pm. First Unitarian Church, 1011 SW 12th Ave. 503-228-6389.
