Cantor Ramon Tasat, a singer and composer, will join the Neveh Shalom Choir for a traditional Sephardic concert. Tasat was trained at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, and in 1993 earned a doctorate degree in voice performance from the University of Texas. He also has published two books on Jewish subjects and lectures on Jewish musical traditions throughout the year. Tasat is cantor of Temple Shalom in Washington, DC. A Sephardic dinner will follow Shabbat services. $12 adults, $6 children, or $36 max per family. Reservations required by Jan. 28.
