The Oregon Jewish Community Youth Foundation recently presented the Jewish Review with an unsolicited grant in the amount of $252.

Each year since its founding the OJCYF has chosen to include the Jewish Review among the organizations it helps.

Jewish Review Editor Paul Haist said, “This is a much larger gift than it may seem. It is a gift that comes with a promise for the future.

“These young philanthropists will become adult philanthropists who will carry on an important Jewish tradition and help to enrich the lives of many people.”

The OJCYF operates within the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation, which also recently provided important assistance to the Jewish Review by transferring to the newspaper their large format printer, which they replaced with a multipurpose machine.

Previously, the Review shared the large-format printer belonging to the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.

The Review uses a large format printer to create page proofs during its production cycle. No longer having to share the federation’s very busy machine will help speed production of the newspaper.
