In October 2007, the World Affairs Council hosted a presentation by Mearsheimer and Walt, authors of "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy." Now the Council offers an alternative perspective by Rabbi Stampfer, including a thoughtful examination of the heart of the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. Rabbi Stampfer served 40 years at Congregation Neveh Shalom and is now Rabbi Emeritus.
